The Snapes

Hi everyone,

It’s been a while since my sisters and I checked in. We hope you’re all having a good week. We’ve been fairly busy with our studies and such. It’s hard to believe term will be over in a little more than a month.

I’m rather excited though and ready for a break. I’m looking forward to seeing my little sister, too, and my parents. I miss them.

Even with Surina and I both attending Hogwarts together, I don’t get to see her nearly as often as I’d like. She’s in Slytherin, I’m in Gryffindor. But I consider her one half of me.

Don’t get me wrong, I love all my sisters equally. Surina and I, however, share a strange connection I can’t quite explain. We love each other one moment, then turn into true House rivals the next. We may be opposites, but we can finish each other’s sentences and read what the other is thinking (and no, I’m not talking about Legilimency. It’s intuitive.)

I feel very grateful to have my sisters to lean on. We’re all so different, and yet, so similiar. I look forward to what will develop between Jeannie and I as she gets older. I think, despite our age gap, we’ll be just as close as I am to Surina and Hailey.

I thought I’d share this cute photograph of my sister and I from early last summer. I love it, and I have it framed and sitting next to bed along with several other family photos. Surina’s on the left, I’m on the right.

I consider this proof that we do, in fact, get along… For the most part.
